DE is short for Duncan Egan, a Scottish specialist on modern salmon flies and originator to the Flamethrower series. Duncan is a professional fly tier with waiting list that deliver flies to anglers worldwide. He has also worked for one of the largest tackle shops in Europe and have tremendous knowledge of fishing in general. When he's not behind the vice you can meet him in one of the Scottish rivers where he tries out his deadly creations! Our DE flies are beautifully tied with the highest quality materials just like Duncan’s own flies, they also feature our own custom synthetic Jungle Cock that are flexible and made of an almost indestructible material. Pig's are Flamethrower style tube flies with tails of wild boar tails like a Pot Belly Pig, the soft front hackle adds optimum movement to the fly. Flies are tied on 1/2" copper tubes for extra weight and are 8cm in total length.
