Wychwood FLTR

Wychwood FLTR rod arrived promptly very securely packaged yet to use but it's a very nice bit of kit. Long cork handle means it fits in my carp rod holdall with reel fitted. Excellent service from Serious Fishing.

Was looking for a classic look for my new carp rods. I know everyone wants heavy modern rods but I like light and classic. This is what I was looking for for a affordable price.
Okk no lay down side is the guides are spaced to far and I would have liked to see 6 guides vs 5. Overall very happy with the action and looks.

I am delighted with rod. I was delighted how easy it was to open an account and order a product. But the delay in receiving the order and not getting any constructive feedback why it was taking so long or if it was definitely in stock was very poor indeed. On the same day I ordered this product I ordered a petrol hedge trimmer from just lawnmowers,it arrived less than 48 hours later. But even from ireland it should have arrived in less than a week not nearly three.

Have used it twice and have been catching tench and bream up to 2lb. You feel every knock of the tench as they shake their heads and you feel the swirl of the bream as they are eased up from the bottom. Can't knock it.
