The All New Radian Fly Rod from Scott
Until now, you’ve had to choose between a rod with power and line speed, or a rod with touch and feel. But thanks to Scott, those days are over. Fast and Feel have finally come together. Scott have dramatically increased recovery speed with new ReAct technology. By minimizing energy- sapping vibrations, ReAct creates fast action, high line speed rods with all the nuance and feel of a presentation rod.
Now, roll casts to a tricky seam, and short, delicate casts with fine 6X leaders are just as easy as long distance streamer deliveries to the opposite bank. And after the cast, when you need extended fishability, Radian rods give you incredible mending abilities and tippet protection without sacrificing the authoritative hook setting and fish fighting power you expect from a fast action rod.
But, it’s more than advanced technology that make the Radian so amazing. Check out the components and workmanship. There isn’t a finer production rod in existence. Features like titanium framed SiC stripping guides, custom reel seats with burled box elder spacers, the very top grade Portuguese cork, and the new patented Universal snake guides from American maker Snake Brand round out the most fully loaded rods to ever grace a rod rack. Each and every Radian is handcrafted start to finish in Montrose, Colorado by anglers who know fly rods. Find out just how satisfying your fishing becomes when you get Fast with Feel, and start fishing a Scott Radian.

Scott Radian Fly Rods
|Model ||Line # ||Length ||Grip ||Features |
|R906/4FB ||6 ||9' 0" ||B || |
The 6 weight Radian FB is built off of the standard Radian 6 weight blank. Built with streamer and nymph fishing in mind, it is fitted with a wells grip and saltwater-safe anodized aluminum reelseat and a 1 inch cork and rubber fighting butt.
|R907/4 ||7 ||9' 0" ||B || |
Quick and accurate with power to spare, the 907/4 is a great streamer rod that handles heavy nymphing with ease. Its sensitive tip protects tippet and keeps you in contact with the fly to detect subtle takes.
|R908/4 ||8 ||9' 0" ||B || |
The Radian 9 foot 8 weight has the tippet protection and mending abilities you won't find in our S4s 8 weight. The Radian generates the line speed needed to turn over larger flies and still loads at closer range. Perfect for silver salmon, large trout, and heavy warmwater use. A great crossover saltwater for that occassional trip to the flats.
|R909/4 ||9 ||9' 0" ||B || |
|R956/4 ||6 ||9' 6" ||B || |
The specialist streamer and nymph rod, the Radian 956/4 is the rod to reach for when you're fishing deep. Superb line control for long distance mending, and the power to deliver the "you can't be serious" nymph rigs.
|R957/4 ||7 ||9' 6" ||B || |
Designed to handle both streamer and nymph fishing with large flies, the 957/4 offers great line control at distance balanced with a strong butt section to turn hard-fighting fish.
|R958/4 ||8 ||9' 6" ||B || |
The rod of choice for large anadromous fish. Paired with a long-belly line, this rod excels at long distance roll casting and mending. A strong butt section with a tip that is able to protect tippet during wild fights with big fish.
|R1006/4 ||6 ||10' 0" ||B || |
A favorite rod for stillwater fishing, and for half pounders or grilse. This rod handles sinking and floating lines, long leaders and multi fly rigs with ease.
|R1007/4 ||7 ||10' 0" ||B || |
A top choice for salmon and steelhead fishing with floating and intermediate lines. Very smooth with single hand spey casts and long roll casts, this rod also helps manage line and fly speed for perfect swings.
|R1008/4 ||8 ||10' 0" ||B || |
Our favorite single hander for swinging flies. This rod roll casts and single hand speys very well, and has the power for longer casts and big bright fish.
